Subject: Notice of Cancellation: WindRidge Farm Fall Horse Trials - October 5th & 6th, 2024
Dear Participants,
We regret to inform you that, due to the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Helena, the WindRidge Farm Fall Horse Trials, scheduled for October 5th and 6th in Mooresboro, North Carolina (Area 2), have been cancelled.
Hurricane Helena caused severe damage across western North Carolina, leaving many communities, including WindRidge Farm, without power and reliable cellphone service. Widespread flooding, road closures, and power outages are expected to take considerable time to resolve, and we are currently unsure when these essential services will be fully restored.
While this was a difficult decision, the safety and well-being of our participants, staff, and community are our top priorities. Given the uncertainty of the situation and out of an abundance of caution, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel the event. Please allow us some time to assess the situation further as we consider options for refunds or possible vouchers for future events. We will be in touch with additional information as soon as possible.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time. We will keep you updated regarding future plans once conditions improve. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
